Thompson captures the true essence of the Christmas spirit in this powerful, uplifting story set on Jaxon’s Christmas Tree Farm. Through a young boy’s search for family and identity, the book gently reminds readers—of all ages—how deeply they are loved, brought to life with Norman Rockwell–inspired illustrations.

A Deeper Look Inside:

The Christmas Tree Wish is more than a story—it’s a reflection of Daphne Thompson’s own awakening. Through the character of Liam, she offers a tender and symbolic journey of transformation, mirroring the soul’s path from loss to remembrance, and from sorrow to love.

Rooted in Thompson’s personal experience of divine awakening, the book invites readers to slow down, breathe, and open to the quiet wisdom within. It offers a sacred pause from the busyness of life—an opportunity to listen to one’s own heart and rediscover the light that grief can never extinguish.

Many readers have compared The Christmas Tree Wish to The Tale of Three Trees by Angela Elwell Hunt—a beloved story that tells the Easter message through the dreams of trees and their destiny in the life of Christ. Like that classic, Thompson’s work carries a universal message of hope and renewal, but set within the magic and mystery of Christmas.

Simple yet profound, The Christmas Tree Wish brings new meaning to family traditions and the holiday season. Its message of healing and self-realization speaks to all ages, helping readers shed the uncried tears of the past and return to the love that has always been waiting within.

“Christmas prevails as a celebrated holiday each year, yet its true message gets lost through commercialism, materialism and the 10,000 things that distract us at any given point in time. Our minds are over stimulated and over occupied to really celebrate the true meaning of Christmas and its message,” Thompson points out. “Liam’s cry for help in the midst of pain caused by the disruption to his family life is a message to all of us that we can relate to. It is his desire to know more about the idea of family that opens his eyes to his life’s purpose and gains him his heavenly peace.” The publication of “The Christmas Tree Wish” aims to remind people that there is always hope, no matter what situation or crisis they are facing. Hope is always the door that will open their hearts to the answers they are seeking.

So, what did you think?

The author was obviously inspired according to my take on this excellent read that allows children to have a new beginning on what fear really is and how hope overtakes it with faith. I was drawn, as an adult and author to read the entire story and wanted to see what the end results would be. I was not disappointed as the story did not have an ending to the new beginning of changing the way a child or an adult thinks. It was the teaser to hear more. The series that follows is something I am anxious to see where the author progresses to a higher level of consciousness that lives within all of this and even in someone young and new to trusting a new way of thinking about their belief in a God that now is represented as the Brightest Star, the Brightest light. What a relief that an author can give to children a way to love God without fear and do so by believing in the hope of a new way of thinking. Bravo!
